Mini Julie - 2016 Special Edition

There are variations among the minis, and this SE mini Julie is no exception. The doll that most resembles this beauty is mini BF Rebecca. My SE mini Julie's part is not well centered and a lot of her roots show (not so attractive seeing those little wholes in the scalp. Very pretty doll, however. IMO, the BF mini Josefina mold is the best of the bunch with mini Kaya very close second. The classic mold didn't cut with me, though with Maryellen,it appears to be getting better
Mini SE Julie is a doe eyed beauty in her sleeveless BF maxi dress. I would have guessed that AG would have picked the her new lilac holiday dress instead, but I'm glad of their choice as it gives more color variety in clothes in the SE series. The best part of these minis for me, is their clothes, nd AG did not disappoint with this maxi dress on this min. Complete with undees, sandals and a thick ribbon rather than the scarf that the 18 inch version provides.
I give this doll a B, B-. Like her better than mini SEs Samantha and Rebecca. But for $28, a bit more care with the hair could have been done.
These minis come in their stands which are made of hard plastic, and yes, she has dents/ scratches from them as do the other minis whose bare legs are hitting the plastic of the stands.
