Released in 2008, retired in 2011.
Ruthie saves this outfit just for playing outdoors. Her pique-knit top pairs nicely with her tan knickers, patterned knee socks, and two-tone oxford shoes. A matching felted hat trimmed with ribbon and flowers shades her face from the sun.

I wasn't sure if I would like this in person, but it looks really cute on Ruthie. The top and ribbon on the hat are a dark periwinkle color that was hard to capture on film.
The hat is a thick felt with three flowers and a ribbon. It looks adorable on Ruthie, but isn't very sturdy.
The top is designed to look like a sweater over a striped shirt with small flowers. It is one piece and velcros down the back.
The shorts are khaki with elastic in the back. The leather-like belt is only in the front and is not adjustable. Personally, the shorts were my least favorite piece, and I would probably make a skirt to go with this outfit.
Off-white socks and cream and khaki shoes with laces are included with this outfit.
