Here is a photo of the dress on Josefina. It is still not then accurate color of the dress, it's that blue-violet shade that a camera likes to read as pure blue but it definitely has a violet cast in person.
I think I would have actually been disappointed had I bought this for my Josefina. She is a slightly tall Mattel girl and the dress hits at her mid-calf, much too high for this style. I tried to put her original Christmas undergarment over it but the dress still hit about 3/4 inch above the ruffle and the extra material made the dress tight across the chest. The color is nice but I still prefer her yellow dress and will be using this for Caroline.
