MAG #49 is one of my absolute favorite dolls. She is so unique and versatile, and I love the combination of light eyes and dark hair. I received her for Christmas in 2012. I had wanted her for ages, and I was ecstatic when I finally got her!
She has medium skin, the classic mold, regular blue eyes, and black/brown wavy hair. I absolutely adore the her coloring combination. That makes her 100% one of my favorite dolls, and one of the most unique dolls AG has ever made. I don't even mind that she has the classic mold because her other features are so striking. Her eyes really stand out and look beautiful and bright against her medium skin. Her black hair sets off her complexion perfectly. She could easily pass as many different races/ethnicities. Mine is part Hawaiian. Her eyes are the regular AG blue color, but to me they look more bright. Her skin is dark, but lighter than some medium skinned dolls.
Her hair is absolutely gorgeous. Some of my favorite doll hair. The waves were subtle but beautiful. They do come out very easily though. Mine did after a week of owning her. I left her hair in a ponytail too long, and now she only has subtle waves. I prefer that to the tighter waves though, because I style her hair a lot and it's just easier. Mine did have a bit of a shedding problem in the beginning. It has stopped, but it left a barely noticeable bald spot near her part. It bugs me sometimes, but not usually since it's not very noticeable. It's the perfect length and can be styled in pretty much anything. Th color is gorgeous. It's black with slight brown/auburn highlights. It looks great with her darker complexion and bright eyes.
Mine is named Brooklyn, and I'm obsessed with her! I recommend her 100%!
