"Molly and her friends often went to the movies to watch feature films and to get news about the war and other current events. This set features everything they need to enjoy the show:
* Two quilted velvet theater seats that even flip up!
* Two movie tickets, a bag of pretend popcorn to share, and pretend licorice whips"
Great set of doll furniture! The seats are very thick plush and made to look (and act) just like real theater seats. When the doll is not on them they fold up!
The small bag of popcorn is really paper, but the kernels are plastic. They do not come out of their bag. There are 5 licorice whips that are all stuck together and also two paper tickets. The girls have to share their goodies.
The frames for the seats are metal based with plastic covering the ends and on the feet (to prevent surface scratching?) The construction is so durable.
The sides have engravings on the ends to make them look more authentic.
Two dolls can sit comfortably and enjoy the show together. I love this set and it is well worth the price. Dimensions are W: 17" x H: 14½" x D: 8½". Grade A.
