I just got Emerson today at target. She's absolutely adorable! I am so happy I got her.
Her hair comes a little bit messy. That's okay, though - she is supposed to be out playing in the garden with her friends and not keeping her hair perfect! Lol. She has extremely beautiful eyes.As previously noted, the light Wellies are a different color than the light 18" dolls. I personally love this because there's finally a doll who is as pale as me
Emerson's hair is also really easy to take care of, I see in the first few hours of having her. It does shed quite a bit at first which is unnerving but it's okay because she has lots of hair to spare! Here's Emerson with her hair down, and in braids:I can't get over how cute her clothes are, either. I'm glad the Wellies are lined, that way there's no chance of them accidentally staining. They also slide on and off easily and I think plain plastic against vinyl would be a struggle. The skirt is also nice, it is a full circle skirt. The Wellie Wishers logo on the dolls hip is literally my only complaint. 6-7 year olds dont need to be getting friendship tattoos on their hips, lol! It doesn't show even when she is only in her underpants, so it is not extremely prominent. It looks like it could be filed down if you wanted to, but, I'll just leave it alone.
