Kit was my first "big girl" (18 inch) doll. I think she is perfect for the first 18 inch doll girls get, because she is very cute and easy to take care of. Since I've had her for nearly 10 years now, her meet outfit especially does have a bit of wear but shes still super cute. Her skirt has yellowed and her shoes are now beige and frayed, but I think thats just because I used to romp around EVERYWHERE with her and play outside and have her in the bed and everything like that. I think she's held up wonderfully, no loose limbs or anything like that. I did have to trim the "barrette side" of her hair because it was abnormally long - I'm guessing it might've nearly come down to the top of her bra if she wore one. It is still long enough to do cute french braids in tge front, or you can pull all her hair into two pigtails (although, she doesnt have short hairs in the back so beware.)
