I recently got both versions of Addy’s lamp (this BeForever version and the PC one that came with the Needlework Kit) and wanted to offer some comparisons...
Both are very similar in overall design. The biggest differences are that the BF lamp is much smaller than the PC one, and that the BF one actually lights up (it has a battery and bulb that turns on when you turn the knob) while the PC version has a wick that rolls out but it doesn’t light up.
Here you can see the size difference:

Looking at the bottom, you can see the hole to access the wick on the PC version and the battery door on the BF version:

Another difference is that the BF version seems to be made almost entirely of lightweight plastic. The disk- shaped reflector behind the light feels especially cheaply made. In contrast, the PC version is made of metal. Both versions have clear plastic globes rather than glass around the light itself.
Another difference I noticed is that the handle and the arm that support the reflector are two separate pieces on the PC version, and they can each swivel independently around the lamp. There is also a loop on the handle so you can hang it on a hook. On the BF version, the handle and arm for the reflector are one joined piece. It seems kind of like it might swivel on the lamp, but I can’t do it on my lamp without it feeling like it might break.
I took the reflectors off in this pic to show the arms and handles better:

Overall, I like the PC Needlework Kit and Lamp better because of its construction and relative proportion to Addy, but the fact that the BeForever lamp in the Bedroom Accessories lights up definitely adds to its play value and makes it worth having!
My grade for either version: A+
