We've had this outfit for awhile, but just opened it today to get Gabriella ready for the holiday season. I agree with you wholeheartedly, Tacy. The outfit is pretty, though the quality is subpar. I especially dislike the low quality of the shoes and headband. The headband is very cheaply made and looks like one from the make-your-own craft kits my younger daughter uses. The shoes also seem very cheaply made. I'll post a pic later this weekend. I would not buy it for my own personal collection because of the quality issues. This one is for one of my daughters.
I also agree about the packaging. It is wasteful, hard to take apart, and most of all: cheap-looking and rather tacky. The only upside is that I will not waste a second wondering whether I should store the box! Into the recycling bin it goes. And I do hope it's recyclable.
