Just got mine (used)!
I have it plugged into my computer playing my 1930s/40s playlist ^__^
The little speaker is decent quality, and I love its real fabric covering, it looks just like the antiques I remember the old folks having when I was a kid. The plastic is is good quality and feels/looks quite like 'Bakelite' plastic of the era, heavy and marbled.
My complaints: There's no light in the dial, which would have been the perfect touch.
Also the jack for the cord is on the side, which looks awkward.

(edit) there's a stain on my radio's dial (bought it used/played-with). Presumably that's not on new ones!
(edit 2) after some research I see that oil on the dial (paper?) is not all that uncommon, so may be from something in the radio itself?? Something to watch out for when you get a new one, I suppose!
