I’ve been meaning to update this for ages...
When I initially reviewed the Garden Stand I was disappointed that it couldn’t come apart for easy storage, but since then I’ve taken it apart and put it back together at least half a dozen times. I’m so happy that I can do this! I think the trick is to push the tabs in a little and then wiggle it back and forth, until the pieces gradually separate. I was nervous the first time I did it but since then it’s seemed easier. Also, when I reassemble the Garden Stand, I try to do it gently with the idea that I’m going to take it apart later (although it still feels very secure and sturdy when it’s set up). Because I can take it apart and put it back together, I’m upgrading it to an A+.
I also wanted to add a few comparison pics to show the relative sizes of the produce...
Here are the strawberries next to some of Kirsten’s strawberries. I think the berries look like they’re size-compatible, although obviously the materials are very different.

Here are the carrots. First are the Garden Stand carrots from this set (clumped bunch with short carrot tops), then a single carrot from Kit’s original School Lunch, then two different versions of clumped bunches of carrots from Addy’s Gardening Supplies. Again, I think these are nicely size-compatible, even though Addy’s carrots have longer greens (and I actually think Kit’s Garden Stand carrots on the left are much nicer than the last version of Addy’s, which are on the far right).
And here are some various AG apples. First is the bowl of clumped apples from Kirsten’s Holiday Treats, then an apple from Kit’s Garden Stand (which is identical to the apples in Caroline’s Travel Basket). The third apple is from Kirsten’s Pioneer School Lunch, and the fourth is from Kit’s original School Lunch (I pressed the two halves together so you could see the size). I think the first two are the most size-compatible, but since different kinds of apples actually do come in different sizes, the differences don’t bother me.

When I first reviewed the Garden Stand, I said that I would probably replace those sad green bean clumps with some of Addy’s eggplants or cabbage. I’ve actually enjoyed setting the Garden Stand up to use in Addy’s time; by filling up the produce bins, adding a tent-top made of poster board, and a fun paper garland, I think it fits right in at her fair:

I love its versatility!
