This item was released in 2019 and retired in 2022.Pinball arcades were incredibly popular in the ’70s, and Julie loves to try to beat the high score! The Flip Side pinball machine works just like a real one, with flashing lights, a digital scorekeeper, a plunger to launch the metal ball, buttons to control the flipper arms on either side, bumpers, and realistic machine sounds. It’s made of real metal and wood.
$150 as of October 2019
I knew I had to have this as soon as I saw it! It's such a unique piece and I love that it lights up and can actually be played. There's even a part on the board that spins during game play. The piece itself is heavy and seems very well made with wood, metal and some plastic parts. It takes three C batteries to operate and has a switch on the bottom to turn it off, on at low volume or on at high volume.
I think the scale is pretty good and a doll looks natural standing next to it. The back is a solid aqua/turquoise color and the side panel art is the same on both sides. It also arrives fully assembled.
