Kirsten was my first doll. She's very beautiful! Her hair is definitely not meant to be played with extensively and styled in my experience. It will stay looking the neatest if you just keep it in braids! I learned that the hard way because I got her when I was very young 
Despite her hair losing some of its shine and getting thinner, my Kristen still looks amazing 15 years later!
