Melody Ellison Doll

I went to AGDC to get Blaire and Luciana, and instead, I fell completely head over heels in love with Melody and had to get her instead (sorry, Luci!).

Melody had been a "someday" doll for me, but after seeing her in person – that day was the day.

You can see she has the "box hair" and the choppier bangs. I find her bangs endearing, and I've managed to style her hair so it's more evenly flipped on both sides. Her hair is textured; not as much as PC Addy, but more than say #80. It has a very nice feel to it and styles well (even though it's short!). I much prefer her hair over the slipperier straight hair that AG seems to be favoring lately.

My Melody came in an older box (with rubber bands holding her arms and legs, and not the thin ties you have to cut), but she has the good eyes and no perma panties. That said, I have no idea when she was manufactured, even though I bought her in 2020.
