My #8, Kimmy, is my first AG, and will forever hold a special place in my heart.
Her limbs have gotten floppy over the years (and I don't have the heart to test out restringing on her for the first time), so I don't photograph her as often as I should, but she is a gorgeous doll.
She's from 2003, so she does have a slightly chubbier body than most of my newer dolls, and she has that rock-hard vinyl.
Her hair has stayed soft and shiny through the years, though I know I used to take her everywhere, so she's never needed any Doll Hospital treatments. It's definitely more auburn - the same color as Mattel Felicity. Here's Kimmy with her sister, Kate (who is a Caroline with a Blaire wig)
