I agree with other reviewers and think these shoes are pretty great!
The bottoms have that real shoe rubber feel which I really like. The laces are permanently tied in bows which makes it easy to have them looking nice. They close with 2 velcro tabs in the front. Most of the shoe is made of a shiny faux leather material, but the high top part at the top, around the sides and backs of the ankle are a different non shiny, puffy material.
