She is adorable. I love this gal. She never actually told me her name, though, even after all these years. First, she was Rebekah. Then Evelyn. Then Lynette. I LOVE her, but I'm still trying to discover her story. Right now, I call her Cécilee-Rebekah. (SESS-ih-lee) Her hair is easy to style, very thick and smooth. Not silky like my Josefina's, which is a disaster to style IMO (I just can't get a hold of it) She's very beautiful. I don't regret buying her one bit. She was my first doll, I got her long ago sometime, and I love her to pieces. Grade: A++++++I apologize for pathetic pictures! I had to use my camcorder! I'll get better pics on here soon. The little cutie! Her hair is rather easy to brush. It does shed frequently if brushed often, because the brush pulls it out no matter how soft you brush it. That is sometimes a problem, but it isn't a huge deal. Also, her hair has a lot of styling potential. Put it up in a pony, pigtails, braid, two braids, buns, nearly any style, and you can do it. I just greatly dislike those unflattering pie bangs I won't say 'hate', hehe, they have kind of grown on me after all these years. But I do greatly dislike them in a way. I'd prefer the lighter revised bangs. Any who, I could never sell her, no matter what. I have had thoughts on re-wigging, but I can let myself do it...she is so sweet. A really old pic of her.JLY #13 makes an excellent first doll. Her hair is easy to manage and I can see it withstanding a lot of years of play. Just a little brushing will keep it nice and silky, I haven't had to do any major treatment on it. I did shampoo and condition her hair once, but only once, and it's been fine.
