FelicityFan85 already wrote a great review of Murph so I haven’t felt the need to add anything, but I did get her out today so I’ll a few more photos.
I agree that she’s a really cute addition to Joss’s collection (if perhaps a little overpriced). I love the wrinkles on her back, and how her tongue can either fold up or hang out.
Cutie patootie wrinkles:
Such an adorable face! The inside of her ears sometimes look like they have a hint of lavender, but I think it’s just how the brown comes through the thin white fabric there.
It can be hard to see Murph’s mouth under those jowls! Her tongue is tucked in here. I like the little black “whisker” dots!
The life vest is well made. It’s got the dark lavender/grey straps, handle, and lining, and a bright orange background for Joss’s ocean logo. Here are some shots of its outside and interior, and of Murph wearing it:

I guess if I had to give this set a grade, it would probably be a B. I like Murph and I think that she and her life vest are cute and well made. The target age might like playing with Murph and having her ride the surfboard. I read the books a long time ago and remember wishing there were a skateboard for Murph, and maybe something else like a leash or food bowls for her would also add to the play value. But still, a very cute set as is.
