I wish I had noticed your post while trying to decide between Light Blue or Blue eyes for my CYO. Fortunately, I made up my mind once I found out that the Blonde CYO on the catalog had the "blue" option. But, I would have known right after seeing your thread 
This being said, I like the way they changed the light blue eyes, even if I prefer the deeper color of the "blue" like with #27 which should look like the CYO "Blue" I chose for my MiniMe. I'll found out soon if she arrives without delay
The color of her hair is really vibrant! I agree if I had her I wouldn't dress her in historical outfits either.
