I recieved my Kirsten on my birthday the other day. She is lovely! I was impressed by the amount of pieces!
Doll: A
The doll is a really nice quality. Her eyes open and close completely, and are a lovely shade of blue, which I actually prefer to earlier Kirstens. I've read reviews saying her neck strings were too short, but my Kirsten has long strings that are a nice thickness.
Wig: A-
Her braids look really sweet, but unfortunately arrived slightly messy. Her bangs seem to start from the side, like #32. Due to this, her bangs can't really be brushed down fully without looking uneven and falling into her eyes. They look good sideswept though, so I'm not too disappointed.
Outfit: A
Kirsten's meet outfit is wonderful! The dress is beautiful and the blue complements her eyes.
The apron is very soft, and helps break up the blue a bit. I do wish the pocket were slightly wider, so I could tuck in her handkerchief a bit easier.
The pantalettes are cute, and I love how they peek out from her dress.
The socks are so soft! They are so cute, and look good with her boots. I do worry that they might snag or pill easily though.
The boots are... interesting. They are soleless, and seem more like booties than boots. They do look nice though, and do their job. Kirsten struggles to balance in them though.
The ribbons look very sweet, and are easy to tie into her hair, but I worry they may unravel.
Accessories: A
These accessories are a perfect addition to Kirsten's already wonderful meet outfit.
The bonnet is fairly easy to put on, and looks great. The colors look great with the apron.
The necklace is very nice, and feels pretty well-made. I imagine it would go well with many of Kirsten's outfits.
The spoonbag is very sweet. I love how it has Kirsten's initials on it. It ties on easily, and stays on well.
The spoon is wooden, which is a nice touch, and sits nicely in the spoonbag.
Overall: A
Kirsten is a lovely doll, and she and her clothes and accessories are very well made. I definitely reccomend getting her if you're considering her.
