Mine arrived today and does include a ski rack. It's a thin piece of molded plastic that'll hold Corinne's skis. It's pictured on one of the outside photos of the bedroom on the AG website.
The wooden supports of the bed actually feel like the kind of unfinished wood you'd get from IKEA. I agree that the ski lift chair is flimsy and wouldn't trust it to hold up to play. Overall though I'm fairly happy with the room.
And that food is amazing.
