These pleated front jeans are made of real garment washed denim. They have a fold-over waistband, which was a popular ’80s style.

These jeans are so odd! I missed out on them the first time around but grabbed them when they came back up for sale temporarily in December 2021. The acid wash finish is great, a classic 80's thing. They close with Velcro in the front and the gems and buttonholes are non functional. They are a bit tough to get on and take a little tugging.
I'd give these a B since they are time period appropriate even though they are a bit strange.
