Evette's Chill Twill & Tie Dye Outfit (2021-2022)

My Chill Twill... outfit came yesterday. My Evette is currently wearing the blue and china white tee over some very tight light blue jeans (Maddie's Girls on Etsy) and it's as tight as possible without looking too stretched. The quality of the hat is not up to usual standards, probably because the fabric is flimsier than is usual for bucket hats and should have been lined. Jamirae is definitely correct on skirt color. It's more old gold than orange while the gold bands on the hat are much brighter. However, the skirt and top weren't bought to go together here either. Evette may be unconventional about her choices but she still believes items should have a relationship of some sort (she wears white shorts with a design of black roses with a black tee lettered in white, saying "Nah -- Rosa Parks 1955"). The cut of the skirt is very interesting -- I'll be looking for a top that shows it off, but for now, an oversized cream sweater from Silly Monkey on Etsy will do nicely. The gold of the boot laces goes with the bright gold on the hat -- a possible start on a hiking outfit.

I wanted Evette to have a designer outfit and I think she'll enjoy finding things to go with the pieces -- I got pretty much what I expected, and like Jamirae, I'm satisfied with it. Now to iron that skirt.
