I finally got this set once AG started to literally give them away. (Honestly the $35 price was a bit too high)
But the set was reviewed by my non doll, military expert, and he was quite impressed with this set.
The flag was decent sized; constructed with a parachute fabric and individually sewn stripes and stars.
The jacket is made of similar fabric, with a plastic zipper. I wish they had used metal. The plastic really feels like a cheap cop out.
The booklet is laminated card stock and folded into thirds. The flag facts were very interesting for the age market. My other reviewer liked it too. He kinda wished they had talked about the "combat" position where the stars are on the left. I'll post a link he sent me.
Overall the set is great set! I'm glad I was lucky enough to get one. I recommend it if you get one. The set has great options outside of Olympics so it's worth having.
I hope I can acquire a second set so I can fold the flag for Molly's dad.
