Of course. Her hair is so long, she's really one of the most versatile dolls in terms of hair styles. The part is permanent, but it's easy to work around.
Oh yes, definitely. However, some Josefina's have a dry hair problem, which mine has slighty (but I want to keep her braid in, as I think she looks adorable with it). Her hair has lots of play value, as long as it doesn't get too tangled up (as with any long haired doll).
