Grade: A- I actually really like this set. It is appropriate to the time period, as someone else said, iMacs in bright colors were really popular when Lindsey was released. Perhaps the asking price for this set on eBay has jumped, but I got the complete set, minus notebook and pencil, for under $20. Furthermore, the Personal Shoppers at AGP-NY were giving the laptop as a giveaway to customers during the fall of last year. As a result, I ended up with a brand-new laptop set within a week of buying mine on eBay. Oops! The address feature is really cute. I don't use it, but I know I would have found it appealing as a kid. The bag is a bit odd- I don't think I've ever seen a laptop bag like it. You'd think you'd want something a bit safer when carrying an expensive electronic item. My main criticism of it relates to the battery. I have both an older laptop and the NIB laptop from my PS, and both have battery issues. You have to use a tiny screwdriver to get to the battery. I initially thought the battery was dead on both of mine (why wouldn't it be, after 7 years?), but it turned out that there is a bit of extra room in the battery spot. Once I carefully screwed the cover back on, making sure the battery stayed in the middle, all was well.
