This is just a beautiful doll. I also had the honor of hosting a traveling 24 for a time, and she and my own Gretchen were great friends. I like how the freckles are different on the same model of doll.
Her hair is so gorgeous that I hate to do anything but leave it loose and admire it:
But it does go nicely into up-do's. Here is Traveling Emma visting Mrs. Ford's Dress Shop in 1863:
