While I can't rave with joy over this piece, I have found it gets play time here. My daughter likes putting on doll shows by playing her own music or singing/reciting *for* the dolls. The footlights are cute and a big hit. It does rotate slowly as mentioned, but that hasn't seemed to be a turn-off. We had a couple of these single-doll stages for dancing Barbie dolls; this one is definitely sturdier and better made, but similar concept.
I think the Spotlight Stage was overpriced at full retail of $30, but it has been on monthly special frequently. For a sale price of half that combined with a discount code, it's a fun little addition as a display or play piece. Rated B for not doing a whole lot.
