Holiday Baking Set (retired)

This set was my Christmas present from my husband, and I am completely besotted. I'm a baker, so I love these items in miniature anyway, but I am very impressed with the quality of this set. It really seems like the quality of the older accessory pieces, with the extensive use of metal and the attention to detail. The measuring cups are marked with 1/2 and 1/4 cup increments. I do wish that the sifter had holes in the bottom, though I do like that the handle turns. It would be nice if the cookies were separate, but they look lovely when on the platter. I have added the recipe cards to the waffle recipes from Kit's waffle set, and this baking set looks great displayed with the waffle iron. I think there is a lot of playability with this set, and the metal makes it very durable. I believe the set is well worth the money given all of the pieces and the quality. I give it a strong A!
