Mine is Pleasant Company and the jacket is not hemmed or finished on the inside either. I'm thinking it's because that would be so bulky and cumbersome to have that thick material doubled over to hide the raw edges. The gold braid is sewn on though. I give the outfit an A too even though it hard for Lissie to move her arms when she's wearing it.
