What I like about Nellie is she's actually pretty close to how she's pictured in the books.
I think her meet dress looks much nicer on Samantha, possibly because Samantha is darker colored and therefore there is a better contrast.

The accessories
The coin: it's a standard AG historical coin; I've lost it. I've lost them all.
Purse: no quality concerns, doesn't really go with anything but the meet dress.
Hat: Same goes for this for matching. I think it works for when Samantha is in the Piney Point attic and her and the twins are wearing all the fancy hats.
Hankercheif: It has raised white embroidery, which I'm not sure you can see it from the catalogue pictures. It is rather intricate, this may be my favorite part of the set. I also like that is quite different from Samantha's.
Necklace: A very pretty item and my Nellie wears it with everything, like Addy's cowrie shell necklace.
