The striped nightie is adorable. It doesn't even matter if it's pink. Kit would wear anything pink because she knows that there are people out there who are less fortunate and have nothing. I like how it goes with her new bedding, but it isn't practical. I don't own pajamas that match my bed set. It's soft and the buttons on the front are fake. Like Joannep said, it Velcros closed in the back. The colors go together nicely, and yellow on Kit just looks wonderful! I was very happy to see they put yellow in the stripes to balance it out.
The headband is a pain. If you bought or are thinking of buying this set for a doll with bangs, it's nearly impossible to get the headband on there head without messing their bangs up. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to doll hair, and I will not stand for messy hair. It works well for Kit, but sometimes you get little bumps. Though not many girls wear there hair in a ribbon while going to bed because it'll just fall out if you are a "active" sleeper.
The slippers are interesting. I'm not quite sure if slippers then were anything like this. They just seem like shoes to me. But they are actually really easy to slip on and make it possible to make Kit stand up on her own (on solid surfaces).
A for the Nightie (wish it had real buttons)
D+ for the headband (wish it wasn't so tight)
A for the slippers (wish they looked more like slippers)
It's worth the $24 dollars in my opinion. I think it's really nice for Kit's collection, especially for winter time.
