Since 1998, two #7's have graced our house, Ashley the Greater (who was recently restored), and Ashley the Lesser (a replacement for our first doll).
Ashley the Greater is PM from 1998. Her hair got VERY VERY dry over the years, but a Downy dunk helped slightly. Her leg was recently reattached and her lips touched up. Ashley the Greater is our chubbiest doll, with a huge and firmly stuffed torso and very broad shoulders!
Ashley the Lesser is Mattel from 2002. Her eyes are much larger and darker than the PM girl, and her hair has remained shiny; it is also darker with shades of red rather than blond (the color is slightly off in this picture). They are both very sweet girls in their own way!
