The boots - these are really nice, I wish Josefina's riding boots were still made like this (same pattern). The 2005 two-tone boots are made of thick, sturdy faux-leather with only a slight plastic feel. The heel is sturdy and matte-finished and the laces are round and cotton with aglets. I love the way that the toe and heel are "capped" in the brown. These shoes are actually not worn by Kirsten in any of her books, but they are in her cookbook and paper doll set. They match really nicely with her work dress, summer dress, and birthday dress. A
