Day Bed (retired)

The bed - Oh, this is a very nice piece. Any time you see a movie set in the '30s (or an actual '30s movie) there's always a metal bed like this in the bedroom! Kit's version is bright, perky green, and very heavy! It goes together pretty easily by sliding a few bars into place, but there's no way to permanently attach the pieces so it is kind of hard to move around. It's technically not a day bed because it doesn't look like a couch. It looks really 30's though, with the green color and the decals. A+

The mattress and pillow - the matress is white muslin-like fabric and can also unfold to fit the expanded bed or fold for two layers in one bed. The pillow is green and too small for Kit's head, but looks nice folded under the bedspread. A-
