First Version Both my grandmother and great grandmother have adobe hornos in their yards, so I was excited to get this authentic piece of New Mexico. My main criticism of it is that it's just way, way, way too small. A real horno would be almost as tall as Josefina. I got my set at the outlet, but unlike AGR's, I did get the wool. Luckily, the missing wood twigs are the easiest thing to replace. The two loaves of bread are really cute. What would have made this set perfect would be to have included ceramics in various states of preparation. Hornos were used for cooking and for firing pottery- my grandmother was a traditional Pueblo potter and she used her horno to that purpose. Grade: A-
