Christmas Eve Set (retired)

The lantern on the left is a Pleasant Company lantern; the one on the right is from the burgundy box era (it came with the chicken and chiles set). I actually prefer the Mattel one! The colors are deeper and brighter. Unfortunately, neither lantern ever came with a candle, despite the little candle holder inside. It's a little detail that really shouldn't have been looked over.


I haven't made the ramillete set, and I will assume that the glue has long since dried up.

I love the tray of bizcochitos. They're weird and gummy, but they look really cute. Lucky they're fake, because I hate anise cookies! I haven't tried the recipe yet for that reason.
