Birthday Outfit (Birthday Pinafore & Snood)

My Addy's version of this dress has an uneven skirt that bugs the heck out of me. In theory I love the snood, but I can never get it to lay properly. Sigh, I still consider my relationship with this dress a work in progress...

ETA: Since the discovery of that modern marvel, the bobby pin, fitting the snood on Addy is no longer a struggle. I replaced Addy's dress with a new, evenly hemmed one, from AGPLA this summer. I was still was not happy with the length (this is one time when I want an outfit to look like the catalog! I love this dress in the catalog!) So, work continues, here is the newest incarnation.
