So my sideboard is solid wood stained a honey color. The only pressboard parts are the bottom and sides of the drawer, and the very bottom underneath the sideboard. The rest, even the back and the turned posts that support the upper shelf, is made of wood. I know it's expensive, but I decided to buy it now rather then later when it's retired and difficult to find. AG furniture has always seems over the top in price. I remember the sticker price shock when I first saw the cost of Addy's tables and chairs. I am so glad I did buy the sideboard along with Rebecca! The sideboard is as wide as the tray from Felicity's tea set. The pulls and hardware are metal, The felted lining in thendrawer is a perfect size for laying out AG flatware. I am thrilled to have such a detailed piece for the coming Sabbath set and also for all the Judaica I plan to make for Rebecca. This is a beautiful piece from AG and quite different then anything else the company has ever made. There is flavor and character in the design. It is too short, that's for sure. Aside from that, an A from me.
