Breezy Day Outfit (2000-2003)

I pretty much got the outfit for the sweater set, which I do love, reminiscent of the Women's section of a Department Store though it is. The fabric is a substantial weight and holds its shape well, and the embroidery has not frayed over the years. I'm not sure how many girls aged 8-12 would wear it or find it appealing, though. Grade A- for that set.
I'm also not sure why it was paired with such gauzy, sheer pants. I like them in theory but they aren't very practical and I've yet to find anything else to pair them with, so they rate a B- from me.
The sandals are beyond adorable and have held up well over the years, although a bit stretchy, so they get an A-.
Overall I do think this is a sweet outfit and it does have some versatility in its favor, if you look hard and can find something to pair the pants with!
I haven't looked on the secondary market for this so I can't speak to its going price. It originally retailed for $22 and included a barrette, though, if that helps.
