Wilderness Outfit + Book (2009-2010)

The Wilderness outfit comes with a taupe thermal tee, a pink fleece vest, a pair of truly ugly brown pants and a set of hiking boot-like sneakers.


The shoes are black with pink accents. I feel that they would be nicer were they brown, so as to match the rest of the outfit. It's nice that they have the elastic style laces- this makes them easier to deal with. The tongue of the shoe is only attached on one side- an interesting detail.


The pants are ridiculous. They're a kind of windbreaker material, which is good for outdoorsiness, but really, the print is awful. The pants would look so much better were they a solid brown, with a small butterfly detail. The butterfly print really ruins the pants for me.




The cuffs have adorable little thumb holes, but they are much smaller than the ones on Mia's sweater. They cuffs are also fairly tight. It was somewhat frustrating getting Inky's hands through the sleeves, but not so much that I wouldn't use the shirt.



The right sleeve has a little green butterfly on it.
