Birthday Outfit (1998-1999)

Adding some more photos of this outfit. It took me forever to find the screenprinted tshirt, but thanks to a dear friend I finally have it. The funny thing about the jumper and tshirt is that they are both quite roomy, even on PM dolls. Stella is our chubbiest PM doll, and she still has some wiggle room. That's not necessarily a bad thing, given that AG's current trend is toward making outfits too tight, but I found it interesting. I think the outfit might seem a bit dated, not terribly so, but enough to rate it a B+ where once it might have been an A. However, I find the cheerful colors are a nice contrast to the palette AG is using these days.
