I'm on a hunt for a just-so German Lissie, and my collecting of possible candidates is a little out of control. Take the triplets, for example: I can't say no when I see a German-looking face on the secondary market!
The triplets have several features I'd say are West German (common on, say, WB dolls): the face mold itself (someone more descriptive will have to help me on all that means), feathery lashes, one or both eyes gazing slightly "off" instead of center, wig caps that peek through at the crown, rosy facepaint, bronze colored eyebrows... and for Lissie, those muted green eyes with the red tinted lashes. The middle Lissie has the longest hair and the most frizzies; obviously the doll on the right has endured a haircut. The doll on the left may or may not have been trimmed...And the WG Lissie with a real haircut:
Yeah, that makes 4. If you think I have too many, try talking me into selling.
