I was also wary of this outfit because of the color. The pictures on the AG website were NOT attractive, especially the pompon on the top of her head. Once the outfit disappeared I was kicking myself because I wanted a complete collection but had waited on this outfit. I recently found out it was available at the Minneapolis store, so I was able to get it shipped.
I was SO wrong! The color looks fantastic on Felicity, even with her red hair. The fabric is beautiful; almost feels like high-quality linen! The roses on the sleeves seem very fragile so I will have to take extra care of those. I was worried about the pinner staying up without pins, as AG doesn't include them anymore, but it stays up just fine and doesn't look weird. Also, I placed the pompon off to the side of her head rather than right in the middle and it looks very sweet.
As a quintesential piece of Felicity's wardrobe, this outfit is a must-have, and definitely worth the price.
