I never thought to just take straight photos of the book's scenes, but I've had many fun times with this set. It's very versatile. I love the proportions in the scenes are perfect so sometimes if you set up furniture and miniatures, you can forget what's real and what is 2-d. You can see part of the scenes in the photos.
