Blue Glasses (2006-2009)

Here are Josefina and Elizabeth wearing the blue glasses:
When I had trouble getting these 'specs to sit straight on Josefina's face, I wondered at first if her ears were slightly uneven (sorry, 'Fina!) but I found I had the same problem putting them on Elizabeth as well.
Upon closer inspection, the bit where the arms are hinged to the frames isn't held together with a -metal- screw (as in the lilac glasses) but by a sort of plastic plug just pushed in. And the one on mine was trying to leap out because it was deformed...
They're cute glasses, look 'real' and they look nice on my dolls. But I'd only give them a B- because I don't think mine would have held up to a lot of play... and they are, after all, aimed at children, not careful adults.
