Rebecca was released in the first version of her meet outfit from her launch in May 2009 until the BeForever revamp in August 2014.
Rebecca arrives in authentic styles from 1914:
A red herringbone dress with velveteen cuffs and collar
White bloomers, black stockings, and two-tone boots
Wavy honey-brown hair adorned with a shiny barrette
Rebecca's Meet Outfit consists of the dress, underpants and barrette.
Rebecca's dress is a very nice, rich red color, almost burgundy. I think the book described it as garnet. It has a herringbone pattern woven in to the material. The collar and cuffs are thick velvety material and inside the sleeves are lined. I expected the material to be thicker, more like wool, but it's medium thickness and not bad. The dress is tight going over the head or hips of a larger PM girl or Goetz Little Sister. It's tough to get her arms in the sleeves. The buttons are decorative and loose. They look like they might fall off easily with a lot of play. The underpants are better quality than Samantha's. They are more like Ruthie's, with ruffles at the legs. The barrette is plastic and looks flimsy but it actually holds quite a bit of hair.
