Meet Tennille- yes, as in Captain & Tennille. (Showing my age here)
Anyway, the description says she has hazel eyes but these are actually darker than my JLY 21. The green and brown flecks seem to be a bit more pronounced in this doll than the hazel I have seen in others.
The color combo of hair/eyes/skin tone are very pretty in person and I am glad I picked this girl. However, she will be going off for an eye swap to have dark blue.
She could have benefitted from a few well placed freckles so I may end up doing that myself.
Again I have to say I am peeved by the downward head tilt on the new dolls. They always appear to be looking down rather than straight on.
Her hair feels as if it has more weight and substance to it than the Rebecca I had earlier this year. I haven't tried to put it in pony tails or anything like that yet but from what I can see the wig cap seems to be covered very well so styling shouldn't be an issue. I also used to have a JLY 26 and from what I remember these curls may be a bit tighter than JLY 26. The spirals look scrunched to me.
My only complaint with her hair is that the ends already look like they are split from too much brushing/styling/touching. My OCD is kicking in and I want to snip them off!
