Sweater & Skirt (retired)

My daughter wanted this outfit for her Molly. I was concerned about fit for her PM doll, but fortunately the sweater and skirt have some give to them and I think they fit just fine. The shoes are another story. I don't think the average target market aged child has my vocabulary so won't be uttering the words I did when struggling with these shoes. Then again, the frustration level might push a child's vocabulary to new levels and thereby traumatize listening parents. Yes, really, it's that bad; it took me five minutes of effort and exclamation to tug these shoes on. There's no way a child could do it. I do hope they fit better on Mattel Molly dolls, because they are quite adorable.

For fit and looks, the outfit is nice enough. The shoes bring the grade down, though. And I could wish that skirt was a bit longer, too. Grade B-.
