I just got this set the other day. I have to disagree with PleasantMemories for the most part.
I had no problems what so ever getting the skates on my PM Molly with thick socks. I was a little worried that the blades might be plastic, but they're metal.

The earmuffs fit fine and look great on Molly. They also fit my cats just fine.
The muff does seem a little thin. And a wrist cord would be handy.... But it's still really cute.
I'm very happy with the set.
